Since its founding in 1992,
PCC CONSTRUCTION COMPONENTS, INC. has
grown into one of the Washington D.C. area’s most highly visible
subcontractors. The organization has gained industry

In addition, PCC CONSTRUCTION COMPONENTS, INC. has become formidable
in its expertise in providing time efficient, cost effective
solutions for the custom architectural curtainwall and high end
metal panel applications for a variety of projects.
Project composition includes Museums, Courthouses, Laboratories,
Commercial Office Buildings, Airports, Sports Arenas, Federal, State
and Local Municipal Buildings, Universities, Manufacturing
Facilities and Technical Centers.

Leigh Press, President:
Mr. Press, a third generation Washingtonian, has been involved
with the local building community for over 25 years. After
graduating from Jacksonville University in 1984 with a BS in
Economics and Finance, Mr. Press started his construction
career in Pre-engineered metal buildings. In 1992, he started
PCC Construction Components, Inc. with its primary focus on
Architectural façade systems. In 1999, the company moved
towards custom curtainwall and architectural metal systems
which has remained the company focus. With his leadership, PCC
has become an aggressive and dynamic company with a history
of quality installations, on time performance and satisfied
clients.
Don Deister, Vice President:
Mr. Deister has been with the company since its inception.
Starting his career as a journeyman, Mr. Deister quickly took
on a leadership role, advancing into project management in the
mid 1990’s. Mr. Deister has successfully managed projects in
excess of $ 9,000,000; on time and within budget. His
experience and background in exterior enclosure systems is
diversified and unique. Projects include Courthouses, Academic
Buildings, Office and Commercial Buildings to name a few.
Currently, Mr. Deister is Vice President and oversees the
entire project management process. He works with the project
team to establish the overall project direction from an
operational standpoint to assure communication and
implementation of the project goals and objectives.
Terry Downs, Director of Field Operations:
Mr. Downs has been associated with PCC for over 15 years.
After receiving his civil engineering degree from Old Dominion
University in 1984, Mr. Downs started his career in
construction working in the field, acquiring skills from his
father, a master carpenter and seasoned field superintendent.
Mr. Downs has many years of experience in both field
operations and project management. With the responsibility of
field management, his “can do” attitude and his ability to
coordinate and motivate are key factors in PCC’s success. His
leadership and total commitment to safety and quality have
greatly enhanced PCC’s ability to perform.
